Central Drugs and Pacific Station Medical Clinic occupy units 103 and 104, providing added convenience for patients.

If you’ve visited one of the many professional practices located in Pacific Station over the past number of months, you have undoubtedly noticed the buzz of construction activity occurring inside the commercial strata units in both Building A and Building B as the new occupants work to put the final touches on their showcase offices in the development’s third and final commercial phase. One of the many benefits of purchasing a unit at Pacific Station is the flexibility to custom design the space to fit your business needs. While Westmark Construction has done an excellent job of constructing the exterior of the building, which features a modern, west-coast design, the interior of the individual strata units are finished to a standard “shell space” level, whereby the layout, design and finishings are left up to you as the purchaser. Looking at the first few businesses to open their doors, there is no doubt that these forward thinking business owners have utilized the incredible potential of the units they have purchased, which feature unique design elements such as vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light flowing in from the large windows found throughout.

Advanced Health + Sports Clinic has opened its’ doors in Unit 203.

Building B, which is the the largest commercial building in the development with 8 strata units offering approximately 16,000 square feet of prime commercial office space, is situated alongside the Island Highway and featurres such conveniences as secured underground parking, and elevator access, saw its first business open its doors February 1. Pacific Station Medical Clinic occupies unit 104 on the ground level, and is a welcome addition and great compliment to the mix of businesses currently operating in Pacific Station. The second business to open their doors in Building B, was Advanced Health & Sports Clinic in unit 203 on the second level, offering services such as physiotherapy, intramuscular stimulation, athletic therapy, complete concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation and custom orthotics. Having just opened their doors earlier this week, Central Drugs occupies unit 103, directly beside Pacific Station Medical Clinic, definitely a convenient arrangement for patients who can see their physician and quickly have their prescription filled just a few steps away.

Origin Optometry has created an incredible office space in Unit 100 at 5200 Dublin Way.

Building A, also a part of the 3rd and final phase, has seen Dr. Petreman and his clinic, Origin Optometry, recently open their doors. The clinic occupies possibly the most unique space in the development, with 1,959 square feet on the main level, complimented  by a 721 square foot mezzanine. Incorporating the vaulted ceilings and large windows, Dr. Petreman has certainly maximized the design potential of the interior space, creating one of the most impressive professional offices in Nanaimo.

In addition to these 4 new additions to the Pacific Station business mix, there are more in the design/planning/permitting stage, eagerly anticipating opening their doors in the coming months.

While the mix of businesses operating at Pacific Station is already quite diverse, there are a few specific professional practices that would undoubtedly be an extremely welcome addition to the business community. If you are operating a legal practice, accounting practice, or a dental clinic, and considering a move, Pacific Station should definitely be a strong consideration.
